After 5 successful shows in Seattle and Dallas, Bldg18 Comedy Club is bringing "Gandhi Kanakku", a clean, family friendly Tamil Standup comedy show to Middletown, Connecticut on Nov 12, 2022. GK and Ananth, stand-up comedy duos from Bldg18 Comedy Club walk us through the most interesting events and important people in their lives. They are joined by Senthil Kalaimani who will be opening for the show. Come and watch this hilarious Tamil Stand-up comedy show for unlimited laughter for 90 minutes.

Biography

GK
 
GK is an Engineer by profession and stand-up comedian by passion. After writing for stage shows, short films and feature films for the last 14 years in addition to acting and directing in a few, GK co-founded Bldg18 Comedy Club in March 2019. Since then, he has performed in over 150+ open mics and 50+ shows across the USA. He has traveled to Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle and Missouri to perform stand-up comedy shows. GK has also performed in corporate shows at Google, Amazon, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks and other companies and corporate events. He performs in Tamil, English and Tanglish as well. His first video "Exams and Indian Parents" went viral on WhatsApp and Facebook in the last couple of years and has crossed 300K+ views on YouTube. GK has opened for leading comics from India in the US like Amit Tandon, Abishek Upmanyu and Praveen Kumar. GK also regularly appears on cricketer Ashwin's YouTube channel discussing CSK's games with a lot of humor. 
 
Ananth
 
Ananth looks at life, "funny side up". He has written and performed for various theater groups in the Bay Area. He co-founded Bldg18 Comedy Club in March 2019 and has performed in over 150+ open mics and 50+ shows across the USA, India and other countries. Ananth is also a corporate comic and has performed in numerous corporate shows. Ananth has also opened for leading comics from India in the US including Amit Tandon, Abishek Upmanyu and Praveen Kumar. His stand-up comedy videos on YouTube were viral and have garnered 200K+ views.

  • If the event attendee is different from the credit card holder, a copy of the credit card used for ticket purchase must be produced along with the ticket
  • Any failure in providing the above mentioned documents may result in denial of admission to the event with no refund
  • In case of an event being cancelled, TheTicketWorld will refund only the face value of the ticket and NOT the service fee

2) What is TheTicketWorld Refund Policy?

All sales are final.
No Refunds will be issued under any circumstance unless an event is canceled or rescheduled.
If your event is canceled, in most cases you won't need to do a thing; TheTicketWorld will inform you of the cancellation and refund the amount you paid for your tickets, on the same payment method used for purchase.

3) Will I need to carry a photo ID along for ticket verification purposes?

Photo ID is mandatory. A valid photo ID must be presented at the door by the person in whose name the ticket was issued

5) At what time does entry shut for the event?

There is no specific time period, We recommend that you arrive at-least 30 minutes prior at the venue for a seamless entry

6) What are the general house rules?

Smoking is not permitted at the venue. Cameras and recording devices are not allowed during the event. Food and beverages are not allowed inside the venue.
